Get Paid to Talk About Getting Paid

IM Report Card is a site that pays you to reviews various methods of making money online. It only takes a few minutes to sign up, and then you can get started. You earn credits for posting comments on reviews, voting on comments, and grading products. You can also get credits for being within the first three people to comment on a product, or for submitting a site that should be reviewed. The credit structure is like this:

Rating a review or comment: 1 credit
Grading a product: 10 credit
Adding a comment to a review: 50-150 credit
Having your comment rated as "Helpful": 1 credit
Suggesting a new product: 100 credits

At IMRC each credit equals a penny, and you need 2000 to cash out for $20. For a few minutes of work, I'm already at around 300 points. The only catch is your reviews need to be of something or someone related to making money online. That's easy to do if you've signed up for anything mentioned here though ;) You'll also learn a lot by reading other people's comments and suggestions.

You'll earn even faster by referring others. You get matching points for all of your referrals, so if they earn 50 points then you get 50 points as well! Sound like something you'd like to try? Check it out here: IM Report Card

Opinion Outpost: Paid Survey Site (18+)

Sorry guys, but this one is only good if you're over 18. Feel free to forward it to your parents though, and maybe they'll share some of the money :P

OpinionOutpost is a great survey site, because they offer lots of surveys and a few of them can lead to product trials or focus groups that pay a lot of money. They add new surveys almost every day, and they range in point value. Generally surveys are worth 5 to 50 points. After you have 50 points in your account, you can redeem them for either a $5 check or a $5 Amazon gift card. The checks take a couple of weeks, but the Amazon gift cards arrive INSTANLY. Check out how much I've earned so far at Opinion Outpost:

Photobucket
It's really easy to earn at Opinion Outpost, and as you can see by my proof of payment, they actually pay out. What makes Opinion Outpost even better is the referral program. They give you 20 points (the equivalent of $2) for each referral after they take their first survey. That means that referring 5 people will earn you either a $10 check or a $10 Amazon gift card. On top of that, even if you don't qualify for a survey you still get rewarded. You have a choice of making a donation to charity, entering to win $750, or taking a chance at winning $50 instantly.

If it sounds like something you'd like, sign up here.

If you're under 18 but still interested in earning Amazon gift cards and other cool prizes then check out Swagbucks here or use the search box to find something for you.

Lockerz: Cool New Site with AWESOME Prizes

Hey guys! Today I stumbled across a cool new site called Lockerz that lets you cash out pretty fast. Lockerz is based on a point system, and you redeem your points for prizes like concert tickets, iPods, and video games. The costs range from 5 points for an iPod skin to 1000 points for a Macbook. Although it's not exactly "making money online", you get free prizes for the simplest things. For example, you get an easy two points just for logging in each day. It doesn't sound like a lot, but you can get video games for as little as 25 points (and decent games too, not just bargain bin crap).

So if you log on to Lockerz each day for 2 weeks, you'll have enough for a new game like Rock Band or Guitar Hero. For taking 30 seconds out of each day, you can easily net 2 new games per month. Of course, you can also earn it a lot faster. For answering "dailies", which are simple multiple choice questions, you can grab another 2-10 points per day. Just for signing up, you get the chance to earn even more points in a mini game. A few minutes after joining Lockerz, I had 12 points. Half way to a game!

If you want, you can save up for the bigger prizes like iPods, camcorders, and laptops. Here's a few examples:

Flip Video Camera - 280 points
Wii Fit - 80 points
Ipod Nano - 175 points
Nintendo Wii - 250 points
Ipod Touch - 300 points

In addition to awesome electronics for everyone, there's also nice designer handbags and jewlery for the girls (they make nice gifts for moms and sisters too). You can rack up points even faster by inviting friends (2 points per friend). Once 20 of your friends join Lockerz, you'll earn double points for an entire YEAR! Which means you'll earn your rewards twice as fast. This looks pretty promising, so I wouldn't want to miss out on it.

As far as I can tell, Lockerz is invite only right now and there are limited spaces. If you want to grab a spot, leave a comment with your email address or email me at teenscanearn2@yahoo.com. On Friday, they're adding new prizes so act fast!

A Few Updates

Over the summer, a few programs have changed their policies and/or new information has come out about them.

SurveyHead, a survey site I wrote about a while ago, has been accused of being a scam site not paying its users. I can't say if they pay or not personally, because I haven't reached payout with them yet. FocusLine also appears to be owned by the same company. I'd recommend staying away from those two sites for a while until more information comes out. When I know for sure, I'll definitely let everyone know.

Scour, a paid search site that I wrote about here, is changing their payment system. Instead of cashing out your points for a $25 gift card once you hit 6500 points, each point (from searching, voting and commenting) will enter you into a daily sweepstakes for $25 via Paypal. I'd say that most people aren't too enthusiastic about the new system but Scour still has good results, and the chance of winning is better than what you'd get with Google or a similar site. Even if it's not your thing, there's other paid search engines you can check out. My personal favorite is Swagbucks, which I wrote about here.

As always, you can use the search box on this page to find something else you might like. Keep checking back for more updates.

Back and Better than Ever!

After a long absence (and just in time for the new school year), TCE2 is BACK. Sorry for the long break. To make up for it, I'll be bringing you tons of updates and new sites to check out for making money online and scoring some cool freebies. Keep checking back over the next few days!

Get Free Gift Cards and Books!

ReaderSpoils wants to pay readers for writing honest reviews of new books. In exchange, you get a FREE copy of the book and a FREE Starbucks gift card. Here's what their site says:

"For each book you review you will receive a free copy of the book, most likely digital, and a free Starbucks gift card. In the future we hope to offer you free t-shirts, mugs, hats, and other promotional items, but with Starbucks gift cards sitting on my desk right now I know we can promise you that much.

So think about it, you have nothing to commit to, we ask for no private information, and you get FREE coffee and books as well as the chance to help emerging authors. Why wouldn’t you sign up today? "

All you need is an active Amazon account (you'll write your reviews on Amazon) and you're good to go! Free stuff is always good, so if you think this is worth checking out click here.

Get Paid to Take Shopping Surveys

Partnership Plus is a very unique teen survey company that is interested in making your shopping experience better. When you sign up, you will be asked to fill in a little information about yourself and your household (as with any survey panel). Then you'll be asked to watch a short training video that will get you your first 75 "Partnership Points".
The idea of the site is that once a month you will be asked to tell them about the clothing that you purchased (or someone purchased for you) during the previous month. As a reward, you recieve more points and entries into daily ($100), weekly ($1000), and monthly ($5000) sweeptakes. Once you get your first 1000 points, you can redeem them for money in the form of a check.
I had 275 points within about 15 minutes of being a member. You can request checks in amounts from $10 (1000 points) to $100 (5500 points). If you think winning some extra money and being able to affect the stores you enjoy shopping at is worth a few minutes of your time each month, check out Partnership Plus here.

Earn Money Watching Commercials with AdPerk

Face it. The internet is FULL of advertisements. On nearly every website you visit, there's an ad trying to get you to buy something or to visit another site. Now obviously these companies pay for advertisements, but they would be completely meaningless without YOU, the viewer and potential customer. However, very rarely do the viewers receive any rewards.

AdPerk wants to change this. AdPerk rewards you with credits for watching short video ads. You select the ads you want, so you only view those you're interested in. You can then use these credits to "buy" free gift cards, magazine subscriptions, and other cool stuff.

AdPerk rewards you for something you already do when you surf the web. You choose the reward you want, and watch the ads you want. You win awesome prizes for spending a few minutes watching commercials. If that sounds like a good deal to you, check out AdPerk.

(AdPerk is open to anyone over 13.)

Get Paid for Paying Attention with YouData

There are many programs that will promise to pay you for viewing and clicking ads. These are called pay-to-click (or PTC) sites. Many of them claim that you can make lots of money from them, and some people do. However, from my experience, you will earn a few cents (or LESS, sometimes a fraction of a penny) per click. There will only be a few ads to click each day. The only way to earn a decent amount of money is by buying referrals or paying for an upgraded membership, and it will take a while to earn back the money you spend.

However, YouData aims to be something completely different. YouData offers personalized ads, that way you only view ads that are relevant to your life. They pay 5 cents for each banner ad you VIEW (you don't even have to visit the sites). If you do choose to visit the site, you earn an extra 15 cents each. You can earn $1 from viewing and clicking 5 websites, which would literally take only a minute of your time.

YouData is relatively new, so the ad offering are limited as of now. However, YouData was rated as one of the most promising internet marketing ventures of 2009, so there will soon be many more opportunities. YouData pays via Paypal, every Friday. If you would like to earn money for a few minutes of viewing and clicking ads, check out YouData.

Earn Money for Reviewing Music at TrackTesting

TrackTesting is a site similar to Slicethepie that pays you to review music. TrackTesting rewards you in the form of Amazon gift cards and free music compilations. For each test you complete, you will recieve a $0.89 Amazon reward and/or points that are used for buying music. It may not sound like much, but it adds up fast. Tests don't take very long so you will complete most in only a few minutes. A "test" consists of rating and reviewing 5 full length tracks or 10 soundbites (30 second sample tracks).
If you spend around half an hour every day reviewing music as a TrackTester, you would probably be able to complete around 3 tests. That would earn you a little under $3 each day and around $19 a week. That's not even counting the free music you recieve!
So, if you're interesting in getting free Amazon gift cards and music for reviewing tracks, check out TrackTesting here. (TrackTesting is available to anyone 13 or older.)

Swagbucks Proof of Payment

So here's my first Amazon gift card I recieved from Swagbucks, proving that they really do pay! (I recieved another one the day after.)

Photobucket

If you don't know about Swagbucks yet, it's a site that rewards you with cash and prizes just for surfing the web. Check out my post about it here.

Get Paid to Review Music with Slicethepie

Slicethepie is a site that aims to give YOU a slice of the music industry "pie". You earn money as a "Scout", rating and reviewing songs. The more honest and accurate your reviews are, the more money you'll make. The company that owns the site is based in the UK, so all monetary values on the site are given in pounds. However, money is money and since they pay through Paypal, all conversions are done for you.

The minimum cash out amount is £5, or around $7. The first $5 you make, you have to invest in an artist which entitles you to a free CD, and getting your name on the album sleeve, among other goodies.

The Slicethepie website says this about being a Scout:
"Slicethepie enables you to shape and support the careers of your favourite new and established Artists.
We pay you to review and rate new Music in the Scout Rooms on Slicethepie – our A&R engine room.
The better you are at writing reviews and spotting talent the more you get paid.
Support your favourite Artists by investing in those that you think will be successful. This will entitle you to exclusive Artist access, your name on the album sleeve, a free copy of the album and a share in the in the financial returns from album and single sales.
Slicethepie is unique…it enables Artists to work directly with their Fans to create a professionally recorded album.
Join now, start Scouting, earn money and help yourself to a piece of the music industry....."

So, if you like music and you like making money (and who doesn't ;]) check out Slicethepie here.

Another Way to Earn Money for Searching!

iRazoo is another paid to search site, similar to Scour and Swagbucks. Like Scour, you recieve points for every search, and also for voting on search results. Like Swagbucks, you can use these points later to buy many cool items, including gift cards, digital cameras and video game consoles. Like both Scour and Swagbucks, iRazoo combines results from the top search engines.
iRazoo is unique in that it randomly gives out Amazon gift cards to searchers several times per day. It also rewards you for your referrals, with each one earning you 50 points. (Your referral will also recieve and extra 50 points, so it's a win-win situation!). In addition to the bonus points, if one of your referrals wins one of the random Amazon gift card giveaways, you win a gift card for the same amount!
It's not on the same level as Scour and Swagbucks as far as search results go, but it seems to be improving. It also isn't as popular yet, but that gives you a head start on getting as many referrals as possible. Each search rewards you with 2 points and you can do 100 searches per day. Many of the better prizes (Nintendo Wii's, iPods, digital cameras, etc.) cost thousands of points.
This best way to benefit from this site would probably be to get as many referrals as you can, and rack up on the free Amazon gift cards. If it doesn't rack up thousands of points quickly it will at least get you some free stuff from Amazon!

(If you haven't already, learn about Scour and Swagbucks here and here.)

Sweeptakes: Only for the Lucky?

Well, I always thought that the only people who won sweepstakes were either extremely lucky, or extremely rare. Never in a million years did I think that I would win one. But somehow, I did. A few days ago, I recieved an email notifying me that I had won a $25 gift card in one of WRINSIDERS many sweepstakes. It's the only contests I entered, and it was quite a while ago, but somehow I won!

For those who don't know about WRINSIDERS, you can read about it here. If you never tried the site, because you thought you wouldn't make much OR if you gave up because you weren't seeing results, I would advise you to give it a try. The sweepstakes are actually worth entering. Who knows, you could be the next big winner!

Get Paid to Play Games with Moola

Moola is one of many “get paid to play games” websites. However, unlike many of those websites, Moola is completely legit. Also, it is 100% free! You win money by moving up the "Moola Tower". When you start, Moola gives you a free penny. This allows you to play on level 1 of the tower. At this level, you risk $0.01 to win $0.02. At level 2 you risk $0.02 to win $0.04, etc.

This may not sound like a lot, but each level of the tower allows you to win double what you bet. At level ten, you'll win $10.24. At level 20, you win $10,485. And if you're lucky enough to make it up to level 30, you'll win an amazing amount of money: Over 10 MILLION dollars!

Of course, you'll need a combination of luck and skill to get there. Don't worry if you lose though. If your balance ever drops back down to 0, Moola will give you another free penny. Also, every few games you'll get a bonus of either a few cents or a few dollars.

If that isn't enough, Moola also offers a "Booster Shopping Mall" where you can earn up to %50 cash back for online purchases from select sites. You can also complete free trials, sign ups, and other offers for more money.

The games are pretty simple and quick, and you'll be earning money faster than you think. Since your winnings double your bet in each level, a few cents a day can quickly become a few dollars a day. Sound interesting? Check it out here. (Moola is open to anyone 13+)..
