Get Paid to Talk About Getting Paid

IM Report Card is a site that pays you to reviews various methods of making money online. It only takes a few minutes to sign up, and then you can get started. You earn credits for posting comments on reviews, voting on comments, and grading products. You can also get credits for being within the first three people to comment on a product, or for submitting a site that should be reviewed. The credit structure is like this:

Rating a review or comment: 1 credit
Grading a product: 10 credit
Adding a comment to a review: 50-150 credit
Having your comment rated as "Helpful": 1 credit
Suggesting a new product: 100 credits

At IMRC each credit equals a penny, and you need 2000 to cash out for $20. For a few minutes of work, I'm already at around 300 points. The only catch is your reviews need to be of something or someone related to making money online. That's easy to do if you've signed up for anything mentioned here though ;) You'll also learn a lot by reading other people's comments and suggestions.

You'll earn even faster by referring others. You get matching points for all of your referrals, so if they earn 50 points then you get 50 points as well! Sound like something you'd like to try? Check it out here: IM Report Card

Opinion Outpost: Paid Survey Site (18+)

Sorry guys, but this one is only good if you're over 18. Feel free to forward it to your parents though, and maybe they'll share some of the money :P

OpinionOutpost is a great survey site, because they offer lots of surveys and a few of them can lead to product trials or focus groups that pay a lot of money. They add new surveys almost every day, and they range in point value. Generally surveys are worth 5 to 50 points. After you have 50 points in your account, you can redeem them for either a $5 check or a $5 Amazon gift card. The checks take a couple of weeks, but the Amazon gift cards arrive INSTANLY. Check out how much I've earned so far at Opinion Outpost:

Photobucket
It's really easy to earn at Opinion Outpost, and as you can see by my proof of payment, they actually pay out. What makes Opinion Outpost even better is the referral program. They give you 20 points (the equivalent of $2) for each referral after they take their first survey. That means that referring 5 people will earn you either a $10 check or a $10 Amazon gift card. On top of that, even if you don't qualify for a survey you still get rewarded. You have a choice of making a donation to charity, entering to win $750, or taking a chance at winning $50 instantly.

If it sounds like something you'd like, sign up here.

If you're under 18 but still interested in earning Amazon gift cards and other cool prizes then check out Swagbucks here or use the search box to find something for you.

Lockerz: Cool New Site with AWESOME Prizes

Hey guys! Today I stumbled across a cool new site called Lockerz that lets you cash out pretty fast. Lockerz is based on a point system, and you redeem your points for prizes like concert tickets, iPods, and video games. The costs range from 5 points for an iPod skin to 1000 points for a Macbook. Although it's not exactly "making money online", you get free prizes for the simplest things. For example, you get an easy two points just for logging in each day. It doesn't sound like a lot, but you can get video games for as little as 25 points (and decent games too, not just bargain bin crap).

So if you log on to Lockerz each day for 2 weeks, you'll have enough for a new game like Rock Band or Guitar Hero. For taking 30 seconds out of each day, you can easily net 2 new games per month. Of course, you can also earn it a lot faster. For answering "dailies", which are simple multiple choice questions, you can grab another 2-10 points per day. Just for signing up, you get the chance to earn even more points in a mini game. A few minutes after joining Lockerz, I had 12 points. Half way to a game!

If you want, you can save up for the bigger prizes like iPods, camcorders, and laptops. Here's a few examples:

Flip Video Camera - 280 points
Wii Fit - 80 points
Ipod Nano - 175 points
Nintendo Wii - 250 points
Ipod Touch - 300 points

In addition to awesome electronics for everyone, there's also nice designer handbags and jewlery for the girls (they make nice gifts for moms and sisters too). You can rack up points even faster by inviting friends (2 points per friend). Once 20 of your friends join Lockerz, you'll earn double points for an entire YEAR! Which means you'll earn your rewards twice as fast. This looks pretty promising, so I wouldn't want to miss out on it.

As far as I can tell, Lockerz is invite only right now and there are limited spaces. If you want to grab a spot, leave a comment with your email address or email me at teenscanearn2@yahoo.com. On Friday, they're adding new prizes so act fast!

A Few Updates

Over the summer, a few programs have changed their policies and/or new information has come out about them.

SurveyHead, a survey site I wrote about a while ago, has been accused of being a scam site not paying its users. I can't say if they pay or not personally, because I haven't reached payout with them yet. FocusLine also appears to be owned by the same company. I'd recommend staying away from those two sites for a while until more information comes out. When I know for sure, I'll definitely let everyone know.

Scour, a paid search site that I wrote about here, is changing their payment system. Instead of cashing out your points for a $25 gift card once you hit 6500 points, each point (from searching, voting and commenting) will enter you into a daily sweepstakes for $25 via Paypal. I'd say that most people aren't too enthusiastic about the new system but Scour still has good results, and the chance of winning is better than what you'd get with Google or a similar site. Even if it's not your thing, there's other paid search engines you can check out. My personal favorite is Swagbucks, which I wrote about here.

As always, you can use the search box on this page to find something else you might like. Keep checking back for more updates.

Back and Better than Ever!

After a long absence (and just in time for the new school year), TCE2 is BACK. Sorry for the long break. To make up for it, I'll be bringing you tons of updates and new sites to check out for making money online and scoring some cool freebies. Keep checking back over the next few days!

Get Free Gift Cards and Books!

ReaderSpoils wants to pay readers for writing honest reviews of new books. In exchange, you get a FREE copy of the book and a FREE Starbucks gift card. Here's what their site says:

"For each book you review you will receive a free copy of the book, most likely digital, and a free Starbucks gift card. In the future we hope to offer you free t-shirts, mugs, hats, and other promotional items, but with Starbucks gift cards sitting on my desk right now I know we can promise you that much.

So think about it, you have nothing to commit to, we ask for no private information, and you get FREE coffee and books as well as the chance to help emerging authors. Why wouldn’t you sign up today? "

All you need is an active Amazon account (you'll write your reviews on Amazon) and you're good to go! Free stuff is always good, so if you think this is worth checking out click here.

Get Paid to Take Shopping Surveys

Partnership Plus is a very unique teen survey company that is interested in making your shopping experience better. When you sign up, you will be asked to fill in a little information about yourself and your household (as with any survey panel). Then you'll be asked to watch a short training video that will get you your first 75 "Partnership Points".
The idea of the site is that once a month you will be asked to tell them about the clothing that you purchased (or someone purchased for you) during the previous month. As a reward, you recieve more points and entries into daily ($100), weekly ($1000), and monthly ($5000) sweeptakes. Once you get your first 1000 points, you can redeem them for money in the form of a check.
I had 275 points within about 15 minutes of being a member. You can request checks in amounts from $10 (1000 points) to $100 (5500 points). If you think winning some extra money and being able to affect the stores you enjoy shopping at is worth a few minutes of your time each month, check out Partnership Plus here.
