Associated Content

Alright, I’ll be honest; originally I disliked Associated Content. But now that I’ve taken the time to try the site out, I think it’s a pretty good money making opportunity. If you’ve never heard of it, it’s similar to Constant Content (see my post about that here). You submit your writing to the site for money. There’s different aspects of AC, some better than others. Here’s the list:

Pros
- Guaranteed $3-$20 for each submission eligible for upfront payment.
- You can submit almost anything.
- Opportunity to make $1.50 per 1000 views of your articles.
- Various contests to earn extra money.
- Friendly community members on the forums.
- Frequent payments through PayPal (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays).
- “Calls for Content”; Requests for specific submissions for a set price.
Cons
- Limited ownership of submitted content.
- Somewhat strict submission guidelines.
- No way to set prices.

Overall, I think it’s something worth trying. If nothing else, submit your old homework assignments and essays (school is already a job, why not get paid for what you do).

EDIT: I've officially published my first AC article. It's just a homework assignment from a week or two ago, and I'm getting paid for it! It's only $4, but considering I would have had to do it anyways, I'm pretty excited. Check it out here.
